I have been in touch with a number of parents who are interested in writing a letter to be sent to the administration and Board of Trustees. I know there are a number of such letters circulating quietly. We need a way of organizing for maximum effectiveness. If you are interested in signing such a letter (not to be written by me), either with your name or anonymously, please contact me below. You have my word that I will not share your name without your permission.
I’ll add one more thing. Whether you agree with all, most or none of what I wrote in my letter, we need to be able to have mature discussions about the school’s antiracism and diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives. Until recently, the administration has been unwilling to have such discussions. This has to change.
